Responsibilities

  • The Business Development Representative (Account Manager) serves as the liaison between the facility, the community, and referring agencies. Responsible for creating demand for the facility's services through ethical marketing principles and sales methods.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Business Development and Business Development Team to present a positive and professional image of the facility within the community.
  • Implement the facility's strategic sales plan, enhance the facility's brand / image, and manage assigned territory and accounts to achieve departmental and facility business development goals.
  • Demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience and dedication in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hours are based on departmental and facility needs and may include day, evening and weekend hours. This is not a remote position.

Note on Veteran Preference

We are seeking an individual who is a Veteran or has prior military service to fill this role. This individual will market and support our Patriot Support Program, which provides specialty treatment to service members, veterans and first responders and their family members.

  • Qualifications

    Education : Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field required. Experience may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in lieu of a degree.

    Experience : Prior marketing and / or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting highly preferred. Three years minimum documented experience in referral development, account management, sales growth, and physician relationships preferred.

    Liense / Certification : Must possess a valid Driver's License

    Knowledge : Knowledge of the greater Charleston, SC metro area and behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets and referral sources, psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment, age-specific programming; demonstrated business development concepts, sales abilities, computer proficiency, and excellent written and oral communication skills; willingness to travel up to 75% with overnight travel as required.
