Transportation Supervisor
Transportation Supervisor
Transportation Supervisor oversees daily transportation operations, ensure service excellence, and support team performance. This role plays a key part in managing carrier relationships, coordinating shipments, billing, and driving operational efficiency across our transportation network.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise day-to-day transportation activities including dispatch, routing, billing, and scheduling.
- Monitor carrier performance and ensure compliance with service standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams (billing, customer service, warehouse) to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Resolve service issues and escalate concerns as needed to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, cost per shipment, and carrier utilization.
- Support onboarding and training of transportation staff.
- Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
