AM Front Desk Agent

Full-Time Position - 7am-3pm

Job Summary :

The AM Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for guests at The Hilton Garden Inn / Home2 Suites by Hilton Medical Center. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the front desk operations during morning shifts, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm, friendly demeanor.
  • Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently and accurately.
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the hotel’s property management system.
  • Provide information to guests regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and services available both in the hotel and the surrounding area.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate accounts of transactions.
  • Support the Front Office team in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk environment.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to fulfill guest requests and report any issues.
  • Assist with managing cash and completing daily reports.
  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and security regulations.
  • Participate in training and development programs as required.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality management is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred.
  • Proficient in using computer systems, including property management software and basic office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle difficult situations with professionalism.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and navigate a busy front desk area.
