Bookkeeper
Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Prepare monthly financial statements and reconcile bank and credit card accounts. Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, and expenses for audit readiness. Assist with budgeting and cash flow management to support business operations. Coordinate with external accountants for tax filings and year-end reporting. Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations. Provide financial insights to ownership for decision-making and growth planning.
Requirements : Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with responsibility for the full accounting cycle. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and strong Microsoft Excel skills. Solid understanding of GAAP and small business financial practices. Experience managing payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable independently. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate financial records. Ability to prepare financial statements and reconcile accounts with minimal oversight. High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
