With new locations in development, Facial Aesthetics is looking for a Director of Clinical Operations and Training to champion provider education, elevate patient care, and align clinical practices across our growing organization. This leader will help shape the future of our brand by driving innovation, supporting our teams, and ensuring exceptional outcomes for every patient.

Position Summary

The Director of Clinical Operations and Training at Facial Aesthetics will be responsible for driving clinical excellence, elevating clinical education, and ensuring consistency across all locations. This role will oversee the development and execution of clinical training programs, Facial Aesthetics' Quality Improvement (QI) program, standard operating procedures (SOPs), onboarding for new services and products, and complication management. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, the Director will lead a team of trainers focused on both the injectable and aesthetics departments, ensuring our providers deliver safe, consistent, and exceptional outcomes aligned with the Facial Aesthetics brand and values.

Position Requirements

  • Maintain operational and clinical consistency across Facial Aesthetics locations through collaboration with Clinic Managers and regular site visits to ensure clinical oversight.
  • Develop, implement, and refine SOPs and clinical protocols that meet or exceed industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure alignment with Facial Aesthetics patient care standards and patient outcomes
  • Lead the rollout of new clinical services, treatments, and technologies, ensuring safe and effective adoption
  • Develop, implement and maintain a scalable training and continuing education program for both new and experienced Facial Aesthetic Injectors and Aestheticians
  • Oversee a team of clinical trainers (Injectables and Skincare) to deliver high-quality onboarding, training, and ongoing development to clinicians
  • Evaluate provider competency and develop individualized training plans to accelerate time-to-autonomy and foster ongoing development in clinical skills
  • Manage logistics for training programs including scheduling, materials, and follow-up assessments
  • Partner with leadership to implement and manage a Learning Management System
  • Facilitate training through in-person sessions, webinars, over-the-shoulder coaching, and digital learning platforms
  • Partner with equipment vendors, skincare brands, and other clinical vendors to coordinate training and integrate best practices
  • Support leadership in identifying growth opportunities in services while maintaining clinical excellence
  • Works with Medical Director to provide immediate and ongoing support for clinicians
  • Coordinate the management of patient complication with Medical Director and clinicians
  • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and follow-up in accordance with internal and regulatory guidelines
  • Communicate and meet with Medical Director on a regular basis to create and strengthen protocols, triage and discuss complications, lead the Quality Improvement Program, communicate clinical and industry trends, evaluate new products and services and relay any other relevant clinical information as needed
  • Lead and document QI (Quality Assurance and Risk Management) committee meetings (Complications, Education, Protocols) in coordination with Medical Director

Education and / or Skills Required

  • Active NP, or PA license is required
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in clinical operations, hands on experience in medical aesthetics with a strong emphasis in injectables, or dermatology setting
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environments across multiple states and ability to research and recommend clinical policies, workflows and SOPs to ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions
  • Track record of implementing a scalable national training program that ensures timely training and clinical excellence across all Facial Aesthetics locations
  • Proven experience in provider training, onboarding or clinical education
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multi-location teams or programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with, learning management systems, Microsoft Office and SharePoint, Communication Platforms such as Teams
  • Ability to Travel between locations as needed (50%)
  • Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail, embodies a patient-first mindset with a passion for advancing provider skillsets, serve as a role model for clinical excellence
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to mentor, coach and influence clinicians at all levels.
