Red River Recovery Center, located in Dilworth, MN, is seeking a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) to join our dedicated team.

As an LADC, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals seeking recovery from substance abuse.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients in need of alcohol and drug addiction treatment.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals.
  • Offer education and support to clients and their families regarding addiction, recovery, and relapse prevention.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment approaches.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress notes.
  • Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and training sessions.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines set forth by licensing boards and professional organizations.
  • Stay informed about current trends and developments in the field of substance abuse counseling.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the organization through teamwork and effective communication.

Qualifications :

  • Valid licensure as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in the state of Minnesota.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
  • Experience in providing counseling services to individuals dealing with substance abuse disorders.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches and therapeutic interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Empathetic and non-judgmental approach towards clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record keeping systems.
