The Department of Performing Arts and Technology offers a variety of technique, ensemble, and lecture courses. The Department has a new major in Music Technology and also provides academic minors in Dance Studies, Dance Performance and Choreography, Music Studies, Music Performance, and Arts Entrepreneurship. Responsibilities

  • Provide individual instruction for applied music students registered for applied lessons. Teach 13 weekly, 45‑minute lessons per student and participate in end‑of‑semester juried exams.
  • Position is part‑time; time commitment and compensation determined by the number of assigned students.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree, equivalent professional experience, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience working with applied music students at the collegiate level.
  • Valid NC Driver’s License not required, Commercial Driver’s License not required.
  • Minimum Education and Experience : Requires master’s degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications : N / A.
  • Required License(s) or Certification(s) : N / A.
