North Country Nursing and Rehab Center in beautiful, upstate New York is seeking a Part Time or PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) in Massena, NY. TN VISA holders encouraged to apply!

Ideal candidates should have some experience working in the skilled nursing environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team of dedicated health care professionals that pride themselves in providing quality patient care. Join our in-house Rehab Department and help us maintain our excellent reputation in the community for providing quality, patient-focused rehabilitation services.

  • Located at 182 Highland Rd, Massena, NY 13662
  • 140 beds- skilled nursing facility
  • Mentorship for New Graduates – We create a learning culture and we promote personal and professional development especially for Fresh Graduates.

Duties Include :

  • Evaluate Residents conditions for swallowing or cognitive deficits
  • Help Residents in their goals to improve Cognition or Swallowing
  • Education for Residents and Caregivers
  • Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
  • Maintain Resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
  • Contributes to team effort
  • Perform Daily Documentation
