Job Description
Insight ABA ABI is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians (BTs) to service clients across New York’s 5 boroughs, Nassau, and Suffolk. This is a per-diem position with highly flexible schedules —perfect for professionals seeking hands-on experience while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.
This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals pursuing degrees in Special Education, Speech Therapy, or Social Work , with strong growth potential across other departments at Insight ABA ABI.
What We’re Looking For
Ideal candidates have experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities—particularly Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)—through :
ABA schools or programs
Day Habilitation / Day Programs
Residential or Special Education settings
If you’re passionate about working with children with special needs and interested in a career path toward becoming a Behavior Analyst, Social Worker, Speech Therapist, or Special Education Teacher , this position is for you!
Responsibilities
Implement treatment goals and protocols in homes and community settings
Collect and record data on client progress using digital tools (tablet, laptop, or phone required)
Maintain accurate session notes and logs
Collaborate with supervisors to ensure high-quality care
Complete all required online training with a passing score
Qualifications
1–2 years of prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, specifically Autism Spectrum Disorders
Completion of 40-hour online ABA training (provided if not already completed)
Strong interest in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and child development
Reliable transportation to case locations across New York
Ability to physically support and engage with young children with special needs
Background check required
