Behavior Technician

Setting : In Home, In School, or Center-Based

Hours : Flexible, Per Diem

Pay Range : $24 to $32 per hour

Position Overview

Flywheel Centers is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to provide compassionate, evidence-based support to children with autism across home, school, and center-based settings in Matawan, NJ. This flexible, per diem role is ideal for individuals looking to make a meaningful impact while maintaining control over their schedule.

As a Behavior Technician, you will deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the guidance of a supervising Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your work will help children improve behaviors that interfere with daily living and support the development of key life skills.

Key Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in home, school, or center-based settings

Follow individualized treatment plans designed by a supervising BCBA

Collect and record data accurately during each session

Participate in team meetings and clinical supervision

Communicate professionally with families, caregivers, and team members

Maintain ethical and professional standards at all times

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

At least 18 years of age

Reliable transportation and ability to commute within the Matawan area

Previous ABA experience preferred, but not required

Must be comfortable working independently and within a team

Work Location

This is an in-person role that may include travel to client homes, schools, or a Flywheel center in or near Matawan, New Jersey.
