Assistant Vice President / Director of Operations-SOF GLSS 2 Program

Description
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations in support of SOF GLSS contract deliverables.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with USSOCOM objectives and lifecycle sustainment goals.
- Ensure compliance with DoD regulations, FAR / DFARS, and USSOCOM-specific directives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to optimize logistics, maintenance, and supply chain performance.
- Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with program leadership, government stakeholders, and subcontractors to resolve operational challenges.
- Support audit readiness, government surveillance activities, and contract reporting requirements.
- Mentor and develop site leads and operational managers to ensure consistent execution and accountability.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (Master's preferred).10+ years of experience in operations leadership, with at least 5 years supporting DoD or federal contracts.Strong understanding of sustainment operations, performance-based logistics, and government compliance.Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.Experience with ERP systems and operational reporting platforms.Preferred Certifications
PMP or Lean Six Sigma CertificationFamiliarity with DCMA protocols and government audit standardsCertified Professional Logistician (CPL) or equivalentEmployee benefits include the following :
