A 300-bed hospital in West Virginia, is seeking an Interim Director of Pharmacy (DOP) to provide leadership and oversight for pharmacy operations. This is a temporary, full-time assignment and travelers are encouraged to apply.

Position Overview

The Director of Pharmacy will serve as the administrative leader for the department, ensuring safe and effective operations, pliance with regulatory standards, and alignment with hospital policies. This position focuses primarily on administrative and leadership responsibilities, with limited staffing duties as needed to support coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day pharmacy operations, clinical services, and pliance initiatives
• Serve as the primary liaison between hospital administration and corporate leadership
• Oversee sterile pounding activities
• Manage and support a team ofpharmacists and pharmacy technicians
• Conduct and participate in meetings with hospital leadership
• Ensure timely pliance reporting and adherence to policies
• Provide weekly updates through scheduled progress calls
