Location : Deerfield, IL (Hybrid 2 days in office)

Salary : $190,000 + 20% Bonus

About Our Client :

We are representing a leading public company seeking an experienced Director of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting . This is a high-impact role offering visibility across the organization and the opportunity to work on complex reporting and technical accounting matters.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee SEC reporting , including preparation and review of 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings .
• Utilize Workiva or Active Disclosure software for reporting processes.
• Provide technical accounting expertise , including drafting memos and disclosures.
• Manage one-off transactions and ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Review close areas and provide indirect oversight (no direct reports).
