Seeking candidates with customer service experience, data entry, and office support skills for a role with a nonprofit medical association located in the Chicago loop.
Newly created role open due to growth.
Contract to hire position. The intention is that this role will convert from contract to permanent status in approximately 4-6 months – they have a successful history of hiring in this manner.
Day to day :
- Respond to member inquiries via phone and email.
- Receive and review applications, exams and other documents required for certifications.
- Maintain commitment to providing a high quality customer experience with friendly, detailed and timely follow up.
- Data entry / database upkeep of member information, payment information, applications, eligibility documents and related documents.
- Filing and other misc. office support tasks.
Additional details :
Hybrid with 3 days onsite / 2 remote - HOWEVER - all candidates must be available to work fully onsite for training the first 1-3 months.Warm, tight-knit employees, casual office environment.Schedule : Monday-Friday 8 : 30am-4 : 30pm to equal either a 35 or 37.5 hour week - your choice depending on lunch breakCompensation : $22.00 / hour while contracting and $41,000 to 42,000 / year upon conversion.Benefits upon converting to permanent status : 100% paid medical for employees, 401k+ match, PTO that accrues greater with tenure, 14 paid holidays, and more.While contracting, will be eligible for MindSpring’s benefit packages which includes an affordable and high quality medical, dental and vision plan.Ideal candidate :
1-2 years related experienceStrong customer service skills honed in a professional office setting.Experience working with an association a plus.Accurate data entry abilities.Attention to detail.Inquisitive mindset and eager to learn new things.Degree preferred.
