This position is for 3rd shift currently planned for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hours would be 6am to 6pm or 7am to 7pm.

The Opportunity :

CACI is looking for a Production Assembly Technician who can serve as a skilled technical specialist to build, align and test high precision Electro-Optical and mechanical systems in support of production Space / Satellite programs and aid engineers in the development of test and alignment fixtures and tools.

Must be available to train during 1st shift.

Responsibilities :

• Fabricate subassemblies and perform integration of subassemblies with electrical, optical and mechanical components for production units
• Independently follow detailed, pre-approved work instructions and test procedures and record detailed test data in Travelers
• Support requests for parts, materials and equipment required for assembly and testing of subassemblies.
• Ensure that all tools, equipment, and consumables are within calibration and expiration dates.
• Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, testing results, and any modifications made.
• Create comprehensive documentation outlining assembly procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
• Inspect products, materials, or components to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
• Use various tools and techniques for inspection, such as calipers, gauges, and testing equipment.
• Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to provide feedback on design improvements and manufacturing processes.

The proposed salary range for this position is :

$39,400 - $75,900
