License : Current unrestricted Professional Nursing License (RN)

Certifications :

• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association, to be completed within six months of hire
• Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) to be completed within six months of hire
• National Institutes of Health (NIH) NIHSS to be completed within six months of hire

Must-Have :

Description :

The position is primarily within the Intensive Care Unit and may require floating to other departments in case of low census.

The nurse provides care to critically ill patients.

The Registered Nurse performs a variety of responsible nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments.

The ability to work independently in completing assignments is essential.

Guidelines include doctors' orders, standards of care, and nursing policies and procedures.

Nursing duties include providing inpatient care and support in a 5 Bed Intensive Care Unit to individuals of all ages and their families.

After hours recovery of post-operative general surgery, pediatric, and obstetric patients may be required as needed.

The nursing staff includes a variety of medical professionals dedicated to patient care.

A culturally rich environment is offered, supported by a diverse community.

The hospital serves as a referral center and provides various medical services to a wide area.
