Job Responsibilities :
As the Manufacturing Engineer for Totex Manufacturing Inc. you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that production lines are safe, effective and efficient. In addition to developing manufacturing equipment and processes, you will work with cross-functional teams : Design Engineering, Quality and Production to reach optimization in the design transfer to manufacturing, equipment setup, process validation. Your responsibilities will include :
Responsibilities :
Design Transfer :
- Collaborate with the engineering team to seamlessly transition designs into the manufacturing phase.
- Ensure that design specifications are translated into efficient and practical manufacturing processes and instructions.
Process Validation :
Develop and execute validation protocols for manufacturing processes.Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and specification requirement throughout the validation process.Equipment Setup and Optimization :
Spearhead the setup and calibration of manufacturing equipment.Optimize machinery for maximum efficiency and output while maintaining product quality.
Documentation :
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of manufacturing processes and changes.
Ensure that documentation complies with company operating procedures and regulatory requirementsContinuous Improvement :
Identify opportunities for process improvements for cost optimization.Implement changes to enhance overall manufacturing efficiency and product quality.Lead role in resolving assembly related concerns. Lead variability reduction and lean manufacturing initiatives and best practices.Qualifications
Required :
Bachelor’s degree in engineering1–2 years of experience in manufacturingExperience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies, including use of Lean tools such as 5S, Kanban, Poka-yoke, and Value Stream MappingKnowledge and hands-on experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, and DOEsProven experience operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment and machineryStrong oral and written communication skillsExceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentPreferred (Nice to Have) :
Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of manufacturing experienceExperience with manufacturing processes for battery pack assembly, including design, testing, and documentationKnowledge of battery electrical systems related to area of expertiseBilingual in MandarinCompensation and Benefits :
