Job descriptionHealth, life, vision, dental and disability insurance 401(k) with annual matching program Advanced and continuing medical education Professional liability insurance Support and payment for mandatory license / s and hospital credentialing Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Assistance available Student loan repayment options available Blend of shift options 51-bed, Level-III NICU staffed by our Neonatology team 34 bed Mother Baby Unit 19 bed Pediatric Unit 9 Bed PICU staffed by our Pediatric Intensivist team Opportunity to work with MAHEC Family Medicine Residents and UNC Medical Students Strong MFM program and new MFM Fellowship; good relationships with OBs and MAHEC OB / GYN Residency An average of 3,000 patient admissions to our pediatric inpatient units Approximately 4000 deliveries per year Approximately 4,500 pediatric surgeries, and 14,000 pediatric visits to our emergency department per year Dedicated infant transport team serving a 55-county area

Mission Children’s is seeking a pediatric / newborn hospitalist to join our engaged and passionate group of providers.
Qualified Candidates :
- Board certified / board eligible in pediatrics
- This is a hybrid position working in both a Pediatric Hospitalist and Newborn Hospitalist capacity
