Your Impact
- Coordinate shipping and receiving so inbound and outbound activities stay on schedule.
- Guard inventory accuracy and balance stock for availability and cost control.
- Partner with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and nurture relationships.
- Leverage a transportation management system (TMS) to plan loads and execute freight strategies.
- Investigate issues through root cause analysis and drive process improvements.
- Translate performance data into action using SQL, Tableau, or comparable tools.
- Provide demand planners with insights on inventory positions and freight spend.
- Assist with warehouse management system (WMS) adoption and continuous enhancements.
- Promote safe, compliant material handling practices across operations.
You’ll Thrive Here If You Have
Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and logistics workflows.Experience with warehouse distribution and inventory control techniques.Background in procurement, sourcing, and vendor management.Confident negotiation skills to manage contracts effectively.Understanding of transportation planning, freight, and 3PL ecosystems.Data analysis capability with SQL and Tableau (or similar).ERP familiarity—AS400 or MRP software experience preferred.Mechanical know-how related to logistics considered a plus.Proficiency with basic computer skills.The Logistics of the Job
