Position Overview

We are looking for an accomplished SAP Testing Manager to lead and oversee comprehensive QA and test automation programs for large-scale SAP S / 4HANA implementation project. The ideal candidate should bring a deep understanding of SAP processes, test automation strategy (Tricentis Tosca), risk-based testing, and Agile delivery models, while driving excellence in test governance, stakeholder engagement, and end-to-end quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy, Planning & Governance

Define and manage the overall QA strategy for SAP S / 4HANA Implementation.

Develop and maintain test strategy, master test plan, and execution schedules aligned with project scope, timelines, and risk factors.

Establish test governance models, review checkpoints, quality gates, and sign-off mechanisms for all test phases (Unit, SIT, UAT, Regression, and Performance Testing).

Implement risk-based and requirements-based testing approaches using tools such as Simplification Item List (SIL) for S / 4HANA transitions.

Lead test estimation, budgeting, resource forecasting, and performance management of testing teams.

Ensure traceability between business requirements, test cases, and defects via standardized templates and tool integrations.

Test Automation & Tools Management

Architect and implement Tricentis Tosca-based automation frameworks that support SAP ECC, SAP S / 4HANA, and integrated non-SAP systems.

Plan and manage Tosca infrastructure, DEX / CI setup, licensing, execution environments (cloud / on-prem), and automation pipeline integration with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, Dex).

Drive automation ROI optimization by identifying high-impact processes, reducing test cycle duration, and improving regression test coverage.

Oversee Tosca Test Case Design, Model-based testing, API testing, and TDM (Test Data Management).

Establish KPIs for automation success (coverage %, execution time, defect leakage rate, maintenance effort, and business alignment).

Ensure Tosca scripting adheres to best practices and coding standards while maintaining reusability and scalability.

SAP Functional & Integration Testing

Lead end-to-end testing across SAP modules : MM, SD, FI, RTR, OTC, MDG, Treasury, Fiori apps, and related systems.

Validate key business processes in Procurement, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, and Master Data Governance areas.

Coordinate integrated testing across SAP and non-SAP systems.

Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and business SMEs to verify data consistency, end-to-end transactions, and business workflows.

Participate in defect triage meetings to assess test results, prioritize defects, and recommend corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, release management standards, and change control policies.

Quality Management & Continuous Improvement

Define and maintain Quality KPIs such as test progress, pass rate, defect density, and defect closure timelines.

Prepare and publish test dashboards, status reports, and executive summaries for QA leadership and project sponsors.

Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and mitigate recurring issues and improve overall quality metrics.

Establish a Testing Center of Excellence (CoE) to standardize tools, templates, and processes across projects.

Leverage AI-driven test design and analytics tools to improve test coverage, speed, and efficiency.

Conduct periodic test audits, process reviews, and retrospectives for continuous improvement.

Stakeholder & Team Management

Lead globally distributed QA teams (10+ members) across onsite / offshore locations, ensuring delivery consistency and collaboration.

Mentor and upskill QA engineers and automation specialists through training, workshops, and certifications.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and partners to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.

Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for test management across project phases-strategy, execution, and closure.

Manage stakeholder communication with Project Managers, Business Leads, Functional Teams, and Program Governance Boards.

Drive team performance, productivity, and retention through continuous feedback and leadership coaching.

Business & Delivery Management

Oversee QA delivery timelines, resource utilization, and overall cost governance across multiple programs.

Support business development activities such as RFPs, proposal reviews, client walkthroughs, and presentations.

Track and report budget adherence, revenue forecasts, and margin performance for the testing portfolio.

Collaborate with leadership to identify growth opportunities in test automation, AI-based testing, and DevOps integration.
