Civil Engineering Project Manager (Site Development / Public Works)

Are you a driven Civil Engineer ready to take the lead on complex, high-impact projects across Southern California? We’re looking for a Civil Engineering Project Manager with a passion for site development and public works to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll oversee multidisciplinary projects, mentor talented engineers, and collaborate directly with public agencies, municipalities, and educational institutions to deliver innovative, sustainable infrastructure solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Manage multiple engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Develop project schedules, scopes, and budgets; track progress and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate technical staff, fostering growth through clear direction and hands-on guidance.
• Take responsible charge for quality control and ensure deliverables meet technical and regulatory standards.
• Lead design efforts in grading, drainage, accessible design, LID , hydrologic and hydraulic modeling , and public improvements .
• Navigate and apply local and state regulatory standards , ensuring full compliance.
• Drive business development initiatives by preparing proposals, lead RFP / RFQ responses, present at interviews, and negotiate contracts.
• Manage subconsultants and maintain strong, lasting client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
