Summary of Position

This job performs complex tasks requiring independent judgment and action. Ability to deliver instruction on a variety of electronic learning resources, in both a virtual environment and in the classroom. This includes recommending and interpreting information sources, creating research guides, and teaching effective research methodology. Promote library resources through outreach efforts to ensure worldwide and local knowledge of library support services. Program dynamic collaborative library events for Central Texas College and the surrounding community.

Minimum Required Education

A Master’s degree in the field of Library Science from a nationally or regionally accredited university with a program accredited by the American Library Association.

Minimum Required Experience

Experience working in a secondary level educational environment. Supervisory experience preferred.

Salary and Hours

Salary : 1I / Per Salaried Pay Scale

Hours : Full-time, Monday–Thursday 7 : 30–5 : 30, Friday 7 : 30–11 : 30. Other : Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and travel to CTC Texas sites, as required.
