The Procurement Specialist provides purchasing support for production, warehouses, and direct shipments to customers by ensuring all required materials are procured in a timely and cost-effective manner. This position is responsible for ensuring the entire purchasing process operates efficiently and effectively while meeting customer expectations.

Location : Brooklyn Park, MN

Compensation : $28-30 / hour Hybrid Schedule

Responsibilities :

• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethics codes
• Ensure familiarity with the Company's Quality policies
• Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels
• Place orders, generate POs from ERP system and confirm POs
• Work with Production Planners to ensure materials arrive in time
• Communicate with suppliers to ensure required documentation is received
• Source materials and packaging based on quality, cost, and availability
• Monitor supplier approval process and maintain performance records
