Sr. Storage Infrastructure Engineer I - Clearance

Volt is immediately hiring Sr. Storage Infrastructure Engineer in Aurora, CO.

As Sr. Storage Infrastructure Engineer, you will :

• Responsible for managing storage services in multiple environments as well as providing solutions for storage related issues.
• Must be a strong troubleshooter with experience in storage issue mitigation as well as prevention.
• Must be a self-starter, plan effectively to complete tasks, and communicate effectively.
• This position may require some on call support or occasional after-hours availability as required for installation and troubleshooting support.

This is a 12 Month full time Contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have :

Clearance Required : Active Secret

Travel Required : Upto 25% travel to support program activities

Required Experience :

• Typically requires BS / BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 8 years of related work experience.
• Comp TIA Security + Certification within 90 days.
• Experience designing, configuring, deploying, and supporting Network Attached Storage Systems (E.g. Dell, IBM, NetApp).
• Experience with fiber channel configurations on storage, fiber channel switches, tape libraries and servers, including multipath configurations.
• Experience with enterprise backup architecture, emphasizing Cohesity of backup solutions.

Preferred Experience :

• Experience with Block and File Storage in a cross-protocol system -administration.
• Experience with Brocade Fire Channel administration.
• Experience with backup systems like Cohesity or NetBackup administration.
• System administration with RHEL OS.
• Desired experience with design and initial build of cross protocol storage solutions.
• Desired experience with Storage Architecture and Trade Studies.
• Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. : Scrum, SAFe).
• Experience using automation frameworks such as Ansible or Chef.

Pay Rate : $75.00 - $83.00 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
