About the Opportunity :

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Newburyport, MA. In this role, the Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure the production of high-quality aerospace components. This position requires a strong understanding of precision machining, aerospace industry standards, and continuous improvement methodologies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

• Be able to develop projects from start to finish
• Experience designing sheet metal stamping / form tooling a plus
• May specialize in Stamping , Machining or various Welding disciplines
• Design Tools / Jigs / Fixtures.
• Troubleshoot tooling on the manufacturing floor.
• Design manufacturing rework process for stamping jobs.
• Design the manufacturing process / packages for stamping / machining
• Support / Assist shop personnel on projects
• Maintain and support in-house & outside tooling projects
• Quoting / Estimating
• Must follow AS9100 procedures
• Must have basic knowledge and apply SPC, Lean Manufacturing, and SMED principles
