Administrative Support Role

This position is national remote. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in Minneapolis, Virginia, Maryland, or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office for a minimum of four days per week. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am - 5pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. We offer one week of on-the-job training. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Provide efficient and organized administrative support to the Customer Service Department to ensure operational objectives are achieved
  • Pull daily departmental voicemail messages and distribute to Leadership for call back
  • Review and respond to failed faxes daily
  • Manage and organize team's shared email inbox, ensuring timely responses, proper message routing, and accurate record-keeping
  • Generate and interpret daily / weekly reports
  • Prepare and organize onboarding tasks and technical requirements

Required Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 1+ years administrative, customer service or applicable military experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication
  • Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail, problem-solving and time management skills
  • Ability to manage calendars, schedule meetings, prepare reports, track deadlines, follow up on outstanding items and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Must be able to work well independently and maintain confidentiality
  • Willingness to adapt to new technologies and processes
  • Knowledge of administrative procedure, including file management and office systems, along with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • National Career Readiness Certificate
  • Database experience
  • Experience in a call center or customer service environment
  • Telecommuting Requirements :

  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
  • Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 - $27.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
