About the Role
The Company is seeking a General Counsel to lead its corporate legal initiatives and provide strategic and tactical legal advice to senior management. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of legal matters, including major business transactions, financing, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role involves direct involvement in complex business transactions, such as acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures, and requires the ability to negotiate critical contracts. The General Counsel will also oversee the legal function, manage the internal legal department, and work with outside counsel as needed.
Applicants for the General Counsel position at the company must be currently board certified in Oregon or their state of residence and hold a Juris Doctor degree. A minimum of 10 years' experience as a practicing litigation lawyer, with a background in industrial product manufacturing and the data center market, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in intellectual property law, including patent law, and experience in areas such as capital raises, mergers and acquisitions, and working with the SEC. Key competencies for this role include excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team and with a high level of attention to detail.
