Rooms Control Coordinator
The Rooms Control Coordinator will work in partnership with Front Desk, Housekeeping and other operational departments with a focus on managing the hotel's room inventory to maximize revenue pertaining to guestrooms.
Responsibilities including, but not limited to :
- Daily tasks to include blocking the house, managing queue rooms and communication related to queue rooms, managing traces as well as late check out and early check in requests
 - Ensure the hotel is set up for success by appropriately blocking guestrooms and balancing room types to enhance revenue opportunities over the next 120 days
 - Ensure inventory across Property Management System (Opera) is in balance and take corrective action in the event of variances
 - Block VIPs into upgraded room types while allocating the proper number of rooms to be reserved for upgrades performed by the front desk that generate revenue
 - Block Suites and Q / Q two Months Out
 - Manage Out of Order and Out of Service room's inventory, following up with departments such as Housekeeping, Engineering, and Front Desk and updating Revenue Management team
