We are looking for a positive and energetic Senior Support Care Assistant who has an interest in helping children with mental illness maximize their potential.

Responsibilities - What you'll do
- This is a second-level direct care position which may function as a lead worker
- Accountable for assisting individuals with actives of daily living
- Assist in checking vital signs, height / weight as assigned
- Collects and maintain records of fluid intake and output
- Reports on the condition of the individuals
- Participates in rehabilitation, ambulation and transfers
- May be accountable for preparing, administering and charting medication under the direction of a professional nurse
- Transports individuals in state vehicles to their appointments and activities
- Assists with staff scheduling as needed
- Report complaints of clients and staff or other incidents which require further action to immediate supervisor
Qualifications - All you need for success
- Able to lift 45lbs vertically from floor to shoulder height
- Run, walk or jog a distance of 400 yards
- Pull 45lbs at least 20 feet
- Kneel on floor to perform CPR
- Implement crisis intervention techniques and emergency treatment procedures.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and team building abilities.
- One or more years of work experience or self-employment.
- Possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
