Job Description / Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Contracts Manager to join our team. This role is critical in guiding contractual, risk, and business decisions that impact on our operations. You will lead contract negotiations, support proposal activities, and ensure full compliance with customer and regulatory requirements throughout the contract lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support contract negotiations and proposal activities.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. regulations and company policies, both domestically and internationally.
  • Provide strategic guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual matters.
  • Administer long-term commercial contracts and resolve exceptions to standard terms.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in commercial contracting within the avionics industry, or a Graduate Degree / JD and 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and administration.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal).
  • High integrity and commitment to compliance.
  • Strong analytical, business acumen, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and database management.
  • Preferred Skills

  • Ability to operate with pace, energy, and enthusiasm across multiple programs.
  • Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and customers.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance competing priorities and deliver results.
