Job Title : Physical Therapist

Job Summary :

A Physical Therapist (PT) is a licensed healthcare professional who helps patients improve mobility, manage pain, and restore physical function following injury, illness, or surgery. PTs develop personalized treatment plans and use a variety of therapeutic techniques to enhance patients’ quality of life.

Key Responsibilities :

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and medical histories.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions through observation and patient interaction.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and stretches.
• Use hands-on techniques such as massage, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation.
• Educate patients and families on recovery processes and injury prevention.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adapt treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Promote wellness and healthy lifestyle habits.

Required Qualifications :

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.

Valid state license to practice physical therapy.

CPR certification (preferred).

Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to manage diverse patient personalities and needs.

Physical stamina and dexterity.

Time management and organizational skills.

Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
