Instrumentation Technician

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our team at Taurus. As an Instrumentation Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing equipment within our craft knowledge and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and correct equipment problems
- Calibrate and align equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance activities
- Check sizing of components and parts
- Specify, requisition, and install parts and equipment
- Coordinate maintenance spare parts
- Assist in planning, prioritizing, and scheduling maintenance
- Set up and calibrate, test, measure, and repair all types of controls and instruments
- Repair, maintain, and install equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions and document failure analysis
- Collect equipment operation and history data to facilitate reliability improvements
Requirements
A minimum of a High School Diploma or GEDA minimum of 3 years of Electrical and Instrumentation Technician experience or an associate degree or higher in Instrumentation or four years of relevant military experienceAbility to work comfortably and safely at elevated heights using safety harnessesAbility to work a full shift, come to work on time, work overtime and holidays as neededCurrent, valid US driver's license for driving a forklift or a company vehiclePhysical Requirements
Ability to wear safety equipment, such as earplugs, goggles, and steel-toed shoesAbility to wear and use respiratorsAbility to perform frequent bending, reaching, and liftingAbility to work in tight or closed-in spacesAbility to climb stairs / ladders and work high off the groundAbility to stand or walk for extended periods of timeAbility to lift material weighing approximately 50 lbsSeniority Level
