Service Specialist Opportunity

Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Assisting Sales Engineers and customers with technical expertise on spare parts requirements, conversion sets, Sales Line Agreements (SLA), etc. for the Renewable Resources applications separators and decanters
  • Aid customers in what is required for maintaining their centrifuges for trouble free operation by offering GEA's parts, repairs and in plant services
  • Support customers in maintaining their centrifuges properly for safe operation
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to GEA for all their after sales needs
  • Offer and setup training with GEA's training team to increase understanding of products and processes.
  • Position the product effectively against competitors (parts, repairs and in plant services)
  • Uphold a unified approach in client interactions ("One face to the Client" culture).

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of relevant industry experience, with knowledge of separators and decanters.
  • Familiarity with customer bases and competitors in the field.
  • Expertise in state-of-the-art processes related to decanters and separators
  • Educational background in Engineering, Food Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Open-minded, solution-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Team player with excellent networking and communication skills.
  • Strong customer orientation and ability to build rapport across various organizational levels.
  • Confident, capable, and credible in client-facing scenarios.
  • English proficiency.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (5070%).
