Essential Job Duties :
This position serves as part of the life safety and building systems support team, responsible for ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, programming, and repair of Fire Detection and Suppression Systems across campus facilities. The role requires specialized expertise in fire alarm systems, sprinkler and suppression systems (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and chemical), as well as related safety systems such as Security, CCTV, Card Access, and Central Alarm Receiving Stations. The position ensures compliance with all applicable codes and standards, including NFPA, NC Department of Insurance, ADA, and Life Safety 101 requirements, to maintain a safe and code-compliant environment.
