Position Overview

The Content Marketing Manager at Galen College of Nursing will manage the development and execution of Galen’s omni-channel content marketing strategy to elevate brand awareness and attract and retain new students while positioning us as a category leader in nursing education. This role requires up-to-date experience in new technologies and marketing trends in SEO / AEO, brand discoverability, and positioning thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage content marketing and social media strategies to increase discoverability and authority, drive organic search traffic.
  • Collaborate with internal and external design and writing teams to produce high-quality omni-channel content for inbound marketing strategies including articles, blogs, emails, whitepapers, videos.
  • Develop editorial calendar, delegate tasks and ensure deadlines are met to write, design, build and maintain our social media presence, managing two Social Media Specialists.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to create website content, pages and optimize user experience.
  • Regularly track, measure and report performance across all social media platforms and website.
  • Plan, execute, and measure A / B and conversion tests.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience.
  • Edit, proofread and improve content.
  • Receive customer feedback and generate ideas to increase customer engagement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • 7+ years of proven work experience as a content marketing manager.
  • Demonstrated expertise in social media platforms.
  • Proven experience creating and managing the development of multi-channel content marketing tactics.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, WordPress or other Content Management Software.
  • Understanding of web publishing requirements.
  • Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Project management proficiency with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or relevant field.
  • Hands on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Highly engaged, team mindset.
  • Physical Requirements : Must be able to sit at a desk and work at a computer for a standard 8 hour work day with standard lunch breaks.
  • Degree of Supervision : Minimal.
