Pool Attendant / Cashier

Season begins early-May to early-September)

QUALIFICATIONS : Minimum age 16 years

JOB SUMMARY :

Responsible for the daily duties of the aquatic center including but not limited to : customer service, cash handling, inventory control, park admissions, class and pass registrations, special events, guest greeter and facility upkeep.

SUPERVISION :

The Seasonal Cashier will report directly to the Pool Managers.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Responsible, courteous, good communication skills, accurate cash handling skills, good work ethic and ability to work without close supervision.

Must possess a sense of pride and accomplishment with one's work.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Cash handling
• Accurate count of start-up and ending monies
• Accurate change counting
• Accurate sales transactions
• Pass and program registrations
• Input information into system correctly
• Advise on what passes and classes offer
• Communicate with other staff and customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Inventory control
• Complete required inventory sheets.
• Facility Upkeep / Operations
• Daily and continuous cleaning of cashier booth, around the facility & lock rooms
• Daily trash removal
• Enforce all rules and regulations with patrons
• Help with daily park operations
• Slide Dispatching
• Greet guests with facility policies and procedures.
• Comply with City of Troy and County regulations and policies.
• Any other related duties as assigned by supervisors.

COMPENSATION :

Work hours are determined by pool operation hours

HOURS

Summer Seasonal-must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week

STARTING SALARY : $12 / HR
