We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Control Administrator to oversee our inventory processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of inventory management, procurement, and logistics. As an Inventory Control Administrator, you’ll ensure that our business maintains sufficient stock levels, analyzes purchasing and sales patterns, and anticipates potential inventory issues.

Role Overview :

An Inventory Control Administrator plays a crucial role in managing inventory operations within a pump supply company in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and Update Inventory Records :
• Keep accurate records of inventory levels, including stock quantities, locations, and movement.
• Implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
• Monitor and Report :
• Monitor inventory levels, deliveries, and shortages.
• Replenish stock as needed.
• Coordinate logistics for purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing.
• Coordinate Audits :
• Manage regular physical inventory audits.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve inventory variances.
• Forecast Supply and Demand :
• Analyze trends and demand patterns to prevent overstocking or running out-of-stock.
• Anticipate potential inventory issues.
• Collaborate with Teams :
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and distribution of inventory.
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality stock purchases.
• Utilize Inventory Management Systems :
• Use inventory management software and systems to track and analyze inventory trends and performance.

Requirements : Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field (preferred).

Proven experience in inventory control or related roles.
