Senior Accountant (Temporary 34 Months)

Location : Reno, NV Schedule : MondayFriday, 8 : 00 AM5 : 00 PM | Onsite | Full-time (40 hrs / week) Contract Position | Corporate Accounting Payrate : $50.00 per hour

Are you a detail-driven accounting professional with exceptional reconciliation skills and hands-on experience in Yardi and Excel? Join a highly respected property management company operating across California and Nevada. We're seeking a Senior Accountant to support our Corporate Accounting Team at our Reno headquarters for a short-term engagement with immediate impact.

What You'll Do

• Perform complex account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness across multiple entities.
• Record and reconcile payroll from September 10, 2024, to current.
• Analyze sales, cost, and balance sheet accounts to ensure proper financial reporting.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in financial systems and general ledger accounts.
• Track and understand transaction flow across multiple systems, including Yardi.
• Support various accounting functions, including AR / AP, accruals, deposits, and journal entries.
• Prepare supporting documentation and maintain organized backup files for audits.
• Assist with system implementations, process improvements, and month-end close activities.
• Review AR / AP aging reports to ensure accuracy and timely resolution.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to support the corporate finance department.
