Responsibilities
Attend client and internal meetings; client management and relationship maintenance.Conduct presentations; participate in project team interviews for pursuits.Participate in industry and professional communities; maintain active membership (IIDA, ASID, NEWH, etc.).Maintain and nurture existing client and vendor relationships.Provide leadership and mentorship to Interior Designers.Conduct site investigations and observations.Prepare narratives, design presentations, boards, drawings, and specification documents with high quality, balancing project schedule and budget constraints.Assignments include programming, space planning, design of spaces and finishes, FF&E selection, documentation and bid evaluation, editing specifications, producing deliverable drawing sets (finish plans, interior elevations, room finish schedules, furniture plans, interior details).Perform cross-discipline coordination with multidisciplinary teammates.Perform construction administration; contribute to marketing / business development activities.Travel for project-related activities as needed.Technical ability / oversight Overall Focus; QA / QC responsibilities Overall Focus.Requirements
Bachelors Degree from an Accredited Interior Design and / or Architecture program or equivalent experience required.12+ years of luxury design experience including Hotels, Resort, F&B and Spa.Strong eye for innovation and detail across luxury project types.Ability to manage multiple projects at various design / execution stages.Ability to provide critical design review and communicate design ideas quickly.Experience developing strategies and design ideas that push the boundaries of the luxury space.Experience leading complex initiatives and serving as the face of Global Design with executives.Ability to navigate complex organizations and build consensus on large initiatives.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, and 3-D modeling software.Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with design and drawing platforms; professional development with junior and senior colleagues.Participation in NEWH, IIDA or affiliated Interior Design organizations is a plus.Familiarity with DesignSpec & Revit is a plus.Salary & Benefits
Salary range for this position varies between $105,000 $155,000, depending upon applicable experience.
