Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Job Title : Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Location : Santa Clara, CA- Onsite

Duration : 6+ Months Contract (Potential for extension)

Job Responsibilities :

• Coordinate the activities of the shipping and receiving team.
• Oversee incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliant of shipments.
• Work with Pure internal staff and Contract Manufacturing sites to ensure all
• global receipts are entered in a timely manner.
• Deliver shipments from shipping and receiving to storage and work areas.
• Prepare shipments using FedEx.com and other courier accounts.
• Work on methods for continuous improvement to ensure the shipping and receiving department continues to change at the fast pace.
• Maintain internal asset register from the loading of assets to assisting finance with questions on location and dispositions.
• Handle large deliveries and outbound shipments.
• Interact with both internal and external customers, i.e. Customers, Freight Forwarder, Vendors / Suppliers, Integrator (DHL / FedEx / UPS)
• Process international shipments in compliance with US export regulations.
