POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to serve as a Patient Care and Clinical Support Coordinator . This hybrid role blends front-desk responsibilities, clinical support, and patient experience coordination. You ll be the first point of contact for patients, guiding them through their treatment journey, from check-in to post-care instructions, while supporting both administrative and clinical operations.
This position requires strong communication skills, reliability, and a patient-centered mindset. You ll work closely with physicians and staff to ensure smooth, safe, and compassionate care.

RESPONSIBILITES
Greet patients and create a welcoming, professional first impressionManage low-volume calls, emails, and patient inquiries with empathySupport patients through registration, post-care instructions, and follow-upVerify insurance, collect copays, and securely manage medical recordsSchedule appointments and coordinate care across treatment and imaging suitesAssist with ordering supplies and receiving deliveriesPrepare patients for treatment (no blood draws required)Take vitals, prep exam rooms, and assist with infection controlHelp with patient transfers and comfort during proceduresSupport clinical trial and imaging patients as neededAssist physicians with chart documentation (scribe experience a plus)Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and ensure adherence to safety protocolsOUR TEAM

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate s degree or equivalent experienceCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential, preferred5+ years in a healthcare or medical office settingFamiliarity with medical terminology and insurance workflowsExperience as a medical scribe is a plusDiscretion with confidential information and sound judgmentAbility to sit, bend, squat, and assist with patient transfers as neededWillingness to arrive early or stay late to support patient needs
