Job descriptionShifts : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM | 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM MDs : 24-hour coverage NPs : Day & Night coverage alongside physicians Night Coverage : NP on-site with MD backup available Credentialing : Temp privileges available for clean files (~60 days standard) EMR : Physdoc Annual Patient Volume : ~8,000 admissions Hospital Beds : 27 total Census : ~2 patients / hour during peak admission periods Intubations Central line placement Emergency response management for codes Support Available : Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, OB / GYN, Orthopedics, Pulmonology, Urology, Wound Care Certification : NCCNP (Certified) Experience : Minimum 3+ years inpatient Hospitalist or Acute Care NP experience required Licensure : Active OH NP license (or ability to obtain quickly) Certifications : BLS and ACLS required Skills : Comfortable managing admissions, cross-covering inpatients, and handling acute situations independently with physician backup High-Impact Role : Be part of a critical team stabilizing hospitalist coverage during scheduling gaps Flexible Scheduling : Day and night shifts available with high monthly volume for those seeking income potential Autonomy with Support : Practice independently at night with reliable physician backup Full Travel Coverage : Lodging and travel expenses covered for non-local providers Benefit from streamlined administrative processes and support services provided by locum agencies, allowing you to focus on patient care and clinical responsibilities.
