Key Responsibilities
Support patients and providers in navigating insurance benefits for prescribed injectable therapies
Review patient insurance benefits and coordinate access to appropriate sites of care
Gather medical information and submit prior authorizations for medications based on payer policies
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
Completion of Prior Authorization Certified Specialist program within the first 12 months of hire
At least five years of experience with insurance billing and reimbursement
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and specialty pharmacy processes
Experience in a healthcare setting, such as a physician practice or patient assistance program, is preferred
