ESTE ES UN PUESTO POR CONTRATO

Object Construction está buscando un Carpintero calificado y consciente de la seguridad con experiencia en la industria escénica. El Carpintero será responsable de construir, fabricar e instalar diversas estructuras y elementos según especificaciones precisas. Este puesto requiere un estricto cumplimiento de los protocolos de seguridad, aptitud física y un compromiso con la calidad en el trabajo.

Responsabilidades Clave :

  • Planos y Dibujos : Leer e interpretar planos, dibujos y bocetos para comprender completamente los requisitos del proyecto y garantizar el cumplimiento de las especificaciones.
  • Mediciones y Materiales : Tomar medidas precisas y calcular la cantidad de materiales necesarios para cada proyecto, asegurando un mínimo de desperdicio.
  • Fabricación : Cortar, dar forma y alisar madera y otros materiales utilizando herramientas manuales y eléctricas de manera segura, cumpliendo con todas las directrices de seguridad y estándares de la industria.
  • Construcción : Construir paneles, plataformas, marcos de ventanas, puertas, escaleras, muebles, gabinetes y estantes, e instalarlos según lo designado, asegurando la integridad estructural y el cumplimiento de las normativas de seguridad.
  • Mantenimiento : Inspeccionar, reparar y mantener las piezas construidas para garantizar su longevidad y seguridad, abordando inmediatamente cualquier posible peligro.
  • Andamios : Construir andamios y otras estructuras de construcción, incluyendo el aparejo, mientras se trabaja a diversas alturas. Seguir todos los protocolos de seguridad para prevenir caídas y lesiones.
  • Organización : Mantener los espacios de trabajo y herramientas limpios, organizados y ordenados para minimizar accidentes y asegurar un entorno de trabajo seguro.
  • Logística : Empacar, envolver, cargar y descargar elementos escénicos y materiales de manera segura, garantizando un manejo adecuado para evitar daños o lesiones.

Calificaciones :

  • Experiencia : Mínimo de 5 años de experiencia en carpintería, particularmente en la industria escénica. Se requiere experiencia práctica en construcción y fabricación.
  • Habilidades Técnicas : Competencia en la lectura de planos y dibujos de taller, y en el uso de herramientas eléctricas y manuales de carpintería (por ejemplo, sierras, martillos, escuadras). Debe tener conocimiento de las directrices de OSHA y otras normas de seguridad pertinentes.
  • Requisitos Físicos : Debe poder levantar y cargar al menos 50 libras regularmente. El puesto requiere estar de pie, arrodillarse y trabajar en posiciones físicamente exigentes durante períodos prolongados.
  • Seguridad : Compromiso con el cumplimiento de todas las directrices de seguridad, incluyendo el uso de equipo de protección personal (EPP) y la adhesión a las normas de OSHA. Se prefiere conocimiento de primeros auxilios y procedimientos de emergencia.
  • Herramientas : Debe poseer y mantener un kit de herramientas personal, incluyendo herramientas esenciales como martillo, taladro, herramientas de medición, palanca, y más, asegurando que estén en condiciones seguras de funcionamiento.
  • Habilidades de Comunicación : La comunicación efectiva con los miembros del equipo, gerentes de sitio y clientes es esencial para asegurar la claridad y evitar malentendidos que puedan conducir a accidentes o errores.
  • Habilidades Adicionales : Las habilidades para operar montacargas son un plus, pero no son necesarias. Debe ser adaptable y capaz de responder a los requisitos cambiantes del proyecto y los plazos.

    • Entorno de Trabajo :

  • El Carpintero trabajará en entornos tanto interiores como exteriores, a menudo en condiciones climáticas variables. El puesto puede implicar trabajar a alturas, en espacios confinados y con materiales peligrosos.
