Mechanical Design Engineer (HVAC)

Job Details:

Successful, growing engineering firm looking to add a Mechanical HVAC Design Engineer to the team. This position includes both design and project management. We work on various building types with a wide range of mechanical and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform job site visits – pre-design field work, pre-construction, during construction and final inspection.
• Perform mechanical calculations, provide code research and design HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Prepare construction drawings using AutoCAD.
• Work and collaborate with the entire design team of architects and engineers.

Qualifications:

• Must have 5+ years in mechanical HVAC design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS office suite
• EIT/PE preferred, but not required
• Bachelors degree preferred
