Cyber Underwriter

Position Summary

Ryan Specialty is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with strong analytical and relationship-building skills to join our team as a Cyber and Technology E&O Professional Liability Underwriter.

In this role, you'll contribute to the growth and profitability of our Cyber / Technology Liability portfolio through strategic underwriting, marketing, and broker engagement. You'll evaluate complex risks, craft tailored coverage solutions-including manuscript policies-and collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners. This position involves travel for client and broker meetings and requires a deep understanding of underwriting principles and market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Evaluation & Underwriting

• Assess and qualify new business opportunities.
• Analyze risk exposures, loss history, and financials.
• Determine appropriate pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Present proposals to brokers and negotiate successful outcomes.

The target salary range for this position is $136,000.00 - $170,000.00 annually.

The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
