JOB DESCRIPTION :
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Implementation Consultant to lead the transition of payroll services under a Transition Service Agreement (TSA) from ADP Enterprise v6 to Paycom. This role requires hands-on expertise in payroll data extraction, validation, and test payroll execution, with a strong understanding of compliance and system configuration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Data Extraction & Migration
- Extract and cleanse payroll data from ADP Enterprise v6
- Map legacy data to Paycom import templates
- Ensure secure and accurate data transfer for the transitioning FEIN
Payroll Validation & Compliance
Validate payroll calculations including earnings, deductions, taxes, and garnishmentsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsReconcile discrepancies between ADP and Paycom outputsTest Payroll Execution
Provide production data to Paycom team for parallel testingAnalyze results and troubleshoot configuration issuesDocument findings and recommend adjustments for go-live readinessStakeholder Engagement & Training
Collaborate with internal payroll teams, Paycom consultants, and TSA project managersProvide training and documentation to ensure smooth adoptionSupport post-implementation stabilization and optimizationRequired Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, PeopleSoft, Paycom, UKG)Proficiency in data extraction tools and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)Strong knowledge of payroll processing, compliance, and reportingExperience conducting test payrolls and analyzing resultsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsCPP or FPC certification preferredPreferred Traits
