We are seeking a Cardiovascular & Thoracic Physician Assistant for a 24-day locum tenens assignment in Virginia. This opportunity begins on Nov 5, 2025, with 24 / 7 call coverage and 7a-7a shifts. The ideal candidate will assist in vein harvesting, provide clinic and inpatient rounding, and work alongside a CT surgeon in the CVOR as First Assist. Job Details Location : Virginia Start Date : Nov 5, 2025 LOA : 24 days Provider Type Needed : Cardiovascular & Thoracic Physician Assistant Schedule : 24 / 7 call coverage, 7a-7a shifts Responsibilities and Duties Provide 24 / 7 call coverage as part of the cardiovascular and thoracic team See patients in the clinic setting Round on inpatients Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) with the CT surgeon Perform vein harvesting during procedures and function as First Assist Additional Information Must hold a current Virginia license Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Required board certifications : Cardiac Surgery Certification - Adult (CSC) and Cardiology Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR preferred Must have experience in vein harvesting Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
