Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation is hiring, Physical Therapists (PT), Occupational Therapists (OT) and Speech Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) in Rockville, Gaithersburg, and / or Silver Spring, Maryland.

We're seeking therapists for our rehab settings including acute care rehab, inpatient rehab, and outpatient rehab; who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Physical Therapist (PT) you will :

• Evaluate and treat patients in a hospital-based outpatient setting.
• Therapist will be competent in assessing and treating a variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to neurological, vestibular, orthopedic, cardiac and general medicine.
• Work well in a trans-disciplinary team.

Qualifications include :

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in PT from an accredited program required
• PT license in the state of Maryland
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• New grads considered with applicable fieldwork experience!!

As an Occupational Therapist (OT) you will :

• Communicate with team members, customers, managers, etc. to coordinate plan of care and provide optimal patient experience.
• Administer occupational therapy interventions and treatments according to agency’s accepted policies and procedures.
• Apply and implement appropriate therapy knowledge and plans patient care with appropriate patient goals.
• Complete documentation requirements in a proficient and timely manner.
• Assume responsibility for personal and professional development.
• Administer and supervise occupational therapy treatments to patients with a wide range of health problems under the direct orders of a physician / podiatrist.
• Coordinate care patients with other skilled care providers to plan, implement and access treatment programs.

Qualifications include :

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Maryland Occupational Therapy Licensure
• American Heart Association BLS / CPR certification
• New grads considered with applicable fieldwork experience!

As a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) you will :

• Provide SLP consults for patients
• Develop treatment plans and communicate recommendations to physicians and Nursing staff.
• Perform an initial examination and evaluation to establish a impairment / diagnosis, prognosis and plan of care prior to intervention for all persons served with basic rehabilitation needs in acute care.
• Provide, or direct and supervise, the therapy intervention consistent with the results of the examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and plan of care.
• Involve the patient / client and appropriate others in the planning, implementation, and assessment of the plan of care.

Qualifications include :

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited program
• CCC-SLP - Certificate of Clinical Competence required
• Licensure as an SLP in the state of Maryland
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

MBS and / or FEES trained a plus!
