Job Objective

The Education Designers will support the Office of the Chief Data Officer (OCDO) with its core mission including the advancement of the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Data Strategy.

Responsibilities

• Support for Dashboard Demonstrations that promote understanding and use of such resources. Tasks could include :
• Train and support stakeholders in understanding and navigating dashboards effectively.
• Host workshops and training sessions to educate users about our dashboard.
• Enhance data literacy through training, documentation, and feedback mechanisms. To support this objective, the service provider must perform the following tasks :
• Facilitate Analyst Basic program including all logistics scheduling cohorts, recruiting students and mentors, confirming instructor availability, coordinating invitations, managing content and documentation, supporting instructors in course development and improvements based on feedback from students, identifying areas for streamlining and improving the program, and supporting the implementation of improvements.
• Facilitate Analyst Intermediate program including all logistics; scheduling cohorts, recruiting students and mentors, confirming instructor availability, coordinating invitations, managing content and documentation, supporting instructors in course development and improvements based on feedback from students, identifying areas for streamlining and improving the program, and supporting the implementation of improvements.
• Operational support for existing training programs already developed to include regular review, inspection, evaluation, and improvements.
• Maintenance of existing USCIS Data Academy site and expansion of USCIS Data Academy to support new content.
• Content development, refinement, and delivery for new course creation to support the Data Literacy Framework.
• Use ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) method for instructional design in all course development and refinement.
• Develop and support all communications plans and marketing campaigns for all existing and any newly developed training programs within the USCIS Data Literacy Framework.
• Develop and implement an approach to measure efficacy of data literacy initiatives and to drive future training initiatives.
